Quiet (expensive) weekend..
So a good portion of Friday afternoon / evening was spent working on my bike. No major projects, just an oil change & a good cleaning. I haven't taken the time to really clean it off since our trip to Wyoming, so there was a couple thousand miles of mud & grime built up. After changing the oil, I managed to tire myself out working on the back half of the bike. Cleaning the chain, the spokes, digging grime out of the chain guard & the front sprocket cover. We had lubed the chains once on the road (every 400 miles? HA!), and a certain percentage of that lubricant had gotten thrown into the front sprocket guard, resulting in probably a 1/2 inch build up of gunk (pleasant thought, huh?).
When all was said and done, I ended up not spending much time on the top 1/2 of the bike but it still looks about 1000 times better than it did. I was going to take some pics over the weekend, but got busy with other projects.
Saturday was spent doing some laundry, and generally being bored. We took some games to trade in at GameStop, and ended up kind of sort of buying a Nintendo Wii. We actually almost bought one Friday night, but Wal*Mart didn't have the game we wanted (Mario Kart), so we went home. Saturday, we traded in some games, and used some credit we had leftover from older trade-ins and got a Wii, a Wii Fit, and Mario Kart. So can you guess how we spent the rest of Saturday?
Oh, we did go see Tropical Thunder, as well. Best Ben Stiller movie in a long time. I know, that doesn't say much. But it was actually a pretty good movie.
Sunday was a very VERY wet disc golf game at NAD park in Bremerton. Wet enough that we went clothes shopping afterwards! A rare, two-movie weekend, we also watched Death Race, which was also better than I thought it would be.

Thought.... Well... Quote for the day.
All religion is simply evolved out of fraud, fear, greed, imagination, and poetry
